Orangeburg County Ambassador of the Year 2016-2017

Mr. Gordon Powell of Bimbo Bakeries USA, a subsidiary of Mexico’s Grupo Bimbo – one of
the world’s largest bakery firms, has been named the Economic Development Ambassador of the year for 2016 -17 for his leadership at the manufacturing operations in Orangeburg County. Bimbo bakeries has also been named Industry of the Year for 2016 -17.
