The mission of the Orangeburg County Development Commission is to create jobs and to increase the tax base by convincing companies to invest in capitalized expenditures; therefore, improving the quality of life for the citizens of Orangeburg County. We will accomplish this by increasing the visibility and opportunities of Orangeburg County by proactively attending marketing missions, regular visitations with the Department of Commerce, and to pro-actively generate leads by utilizing a detailed marketing plan.

The Orangeburg County Development Commission is publicly chartered to plan and promote a strong business image, to recruit new employers to Orangeburg County and to facilitate the growth of existing employers.
