Biography

Terry is a native of Rowesville, SC, and has twenty five years of administrative experience in the private sector and industry, and ten years in the public sector. Her administrative background is extensive, where currently she is Executive Assistant to the Executive Director at OCDC, and previously, Public Relations Manager, at the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce, Executive Asssistant to the President, Thomas and Betts, Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager, Holcim US Inc., Human Resource Assistant, Zeus Industrial Products, Inc., and Administrative Assistant to the Plant Manager, Greenwood Mills.

 

Terry completed high school at Seminole High School, in Sanford Florida, and attended the following administrative seminars in recent years; Grammar Seminar, Managing Multi-Priorities, ISO9000 Internal Audit Training, Microsoft Office97 Seminar, Micro Computer Applications, Communication Skills for Women, PowerPoint, Business Writing, Ceridian Payroll Training, EEO Compliance/Interviewing Techniques, The Indispensable Assistant Workshop, Micro Computer Applications, University of South Carolina - Administrative Assistant Courses, and Typing and Shorthand

Biography

Joe is a native of Pennsylvania and has over 30 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience. His experiences include twelve years with General Electric as a process and project engineer. His management experiences include Plant Manager for Proctor Silex, General Manager for Hamilton Beach – Proctor Silex and Vice President and General Manager for Fisher Price – Mattel. He moved to South Carolina with his family in 1995 as a site manager for a Rubbermaid startup in Blythewood, SC.

 

In 1996, Joe founded Carolina Resource Group L.L.C., a manufacturing and operations consulting business working in Economic Development and with existing manufacturers, primarily in South Carolina. Carolina Resource Group has a diverse group of clients including SC Metal Products, Haier, Kolector, Husqvarna, Marwin Company and SCMEP to name a few.

 

Joe is a graduate of Bucks County Community College and attended Kutztown State University. He has attended and participated in numerous professional and work related- programs.

 

In 2006, Joe became the Existing Industry Manager for the Orangeburg County Development Commission.  

Biography

Patricia is a native of St. George, South Carolina and has several years of experience in public relations, job coaching and sales. 

 

Patricia is a graduate of Lesley University with a Masters in Technology in Education and of South Carolina State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ School.

 

Patricia is the Community Development Manager for Orangeburg County Development Commission. She organizes special events and announcements. She is the conduit for higher educational institutions, serving on business advisor boards, workforce initiatives and developing relationships in the community.

 

Patricia’s goal is to assist the Development Commission in increasing employment in Orangeburg County and expanding existing industries.

 

Biography

Bradon (Brad) is a native of Orangeburg County raised on a family farm just outside the town of Rowesville. Prior to his position with the Orangeburg County Development Commission he has over 18 years experience in many different aspects of industry and sales.

 

Bradon is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in Marketing. He is also a graduate of both the South Carolina Economic Developer's School and the University of North Carolina's School of Government's Basic Economic Development Course.

 

Bradon is responsible for gathering and maintaining various and numerous databases used in the recruitment of industry. He is also responsible for all other detailed and comprehensive research requirements of the Development Commission.

 

Bradon's goal is to assist in the recruitment of additional companies and jobs to Orangeburg County while maintaining and expanding the existing companies currently located in the County.

Biography

John is a native of St. Matthews, South Carolina and has over thirteen years of experience in the environmental field.  His environmental experiences include 10 years as an Environmental Manager with the Department of Health and Environmental Control – Environmental Quality Control.  He is currently working for the Orangeburg County Development Commission as a Project Manager as well as the County Engineer and is also responsible for managing the Capital Sales Tax Projects for Orangeburg County.

 

John’s goals are to bring much needed infrastructure and development to Orangeburg County.  John’s degree is in Environmental Engineering from Augusta College and Clemson University.

Biography

Gregg Robinson is the Executive Director of Orangeburg County Development Commission since 2005. Under his direction, Orangeburg County has publicly announced over 650 million dollars in new capital investment and over 850 new jobs to the community in four (4) years. During his tenure a number of new companies have located to the area including: Newpoint Gas Manufacturing Company, Mars Pet Care, Martin Marietta, Inc., Sims Bark Company, Monteferro America and Ecka Granule’s North American headquarters to name a few. The Orangeburg County Development Commission has expanded its inventory to include seven (7) Industrial Parks that are privately or publically owned throughout the county with well over 3,000 acres either owned or controlled through options. Additionally, the Global   Logistics Triangle brand has become synonymous with logistics and distribution throughout the Southeast.

 

Gregg has over 18 years of experience in management, public relations, sales, marketing and business development. Prior to his current position, he served as a Global Project Manager for the South Carolina Department of Commerce from 1999-2005. Gregg was directly responsible for successfully recruiting and publicly announcing the location of 45 companies totaling $475 million in Capital Investment, creating over 4,500 new jobs in 6 years.  In 2003, Gregg was recognized for publicly announcing two of the top five (5) projects in the State. In 2004, Southern Business & Development listed two of Gregg’s projects in the Top 100 Publicly Announced Projects in the South.  In the 2005, Gregg was recognized as Project Manager of the Year at the Governor’s Rural Summit.

 

Gregg is a native son of South Carolina.  He currently sits on numerous advisory and civic boards as well as being a member of many development organizations.  He is a South Carolina Certified Economic Developer (SCCED) and received both his Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.
